Frankie MacLean

Having the capacity to generate AWP influence is a key skill set for our change agents. We have been working with the industry over the last 10+ years developing a comprehensive understanding of what needs to happen, we have also been busy building the capacity to make it happen, through the acquisition and development of the right people.

Frankie Is originally from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Frankie earned his steamfitter/pipefitter apprenticeship while also completing a bachelors degree in Anthropology and Sociology with a minor in History spending a year of his studies on exchange in Orebro, Sweden.
After his stint in Sweden, Frankie moved to Edmonton Alberta to work as a Pipefitter/Steamfitter. He began to aggressively pursue additional schooling and eventually earned multiple certifications including: Blue Seal Steamfitter/Pipefitter Designation, Level 1 1 Welding inspector Certification, National Construction Safety Office Certification, 4th class power engineering certification, Industrial Construction Crew Supervisor Certification along with his Project Management Professional Designation.
Working in all levels of field supervision including Workface planning and scheduling positions, Frankie was given his first construction management position when he was only 23. The project was a great success due to a custom designed Workface planning program and hard work. Since then Frankie has worked as a Construction manager and Advanced Work Packaging Consultant for various companies. Frankie’s Career has since seen him teach and consult Advanced Work Packaging and Construction management strategy in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia.
What’s next? With the support of his wonderful wife and two beautiful daughters Frankie is currently working towards his Masters of Business Administration to further continue his professional development.
