Based out of Houston, the Project Manager is responsible for the management of multiple on-going client projects, daily client interaction, custom deliverables, timeline and critical task management, coordination across multiple stakeholders and resources and resolving project-related issues.
Responsibilities:
Provide quality internal and external customer service
Manage a workload of multiple projects at one time.
Ability to manage projects across global time zones.
Oversee all aspects of client implementations
Responsible for timely project completion, issue identification/resolution, and customer delivery
Ensure clients clearly understand the status of the project throughout all phases; including schedule with associated milestones, completed tasks, pending deliverables, and outstanding items
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure client and company objectives are met
Perform daily project tracking including resource management, inventory, and workflow supervision of multiple projects
Implement change management practices with stakeholders to ensure buy-in to Insight-AWP’s Advance Work Packaging practices.
Create and execute project work plans and revise when appropriate
Review deliverables and coordinate with other departments before forwarding to the client
Effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards
Facilitate internal team and customer meetings effectively
Hold regular status meetings with the project team
Suggest an improvement to internal processes along with possible solutions to be more efficient
Comply with and help enforce standard policies and procedures
Effectively interface with other departments for billing and contractual obligations
Ensures safety is part of all daily practices and routines
Preferred Experience:
Strong project management skills with excellent customer service skills
Must possess initiative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Minimum 10 years of implementation experience with Advance Work Packaging (AWP) methodologies
Minimum of 10 years of implementation experience with Work Face Planning
Strong familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
5 years of Trades supervisory experience specific to larger scale Industrial construction projects
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience managing direct and indirect reports
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Demonstrated ability to understand and develop database models and appropriate schema
Proficiency in writing transact SQL statements, DAX, and working with .NET framework
Expertise in utilizing Power BI to deliver business intelligence models for both management and craft level insights
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Strong interpersonal, organization, and planning skills
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Must possess advanced level MS Office skills especially and Excel.
Must display great attention to detail
Comfortable developing and delivering presentations and facilitating meetings
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, PMP preferred
Minimum of 5 years direct externally facing customer implementation experience
